Let's accept that we all make mistakes, and let all parties involved learn from these mistakes and take the advice offered by other posters and utilize it.
How about I quote it again.
One time! Somebody read me and pay attention! Please Dealer?
Can we just shorten that to "READ THE BLOODY SCREEN!" and add on the end a silent (and you won't be having these problems to begin with).
Bob, the RLA (Runs Like Aaron) comes from what seems to be a common poker saying "Runs Like God".
Not sure if you've seen or heard that one being bandied about or not.
It basically means it doesn't matter what someone does at the felt they just seem to come out on top.
Aaron has been a freak lately so the shortened version of Runs Like God (RLG) got changed to RLA (Runs Like Aaron) as a bit of a joke.
Hopefully that explains it for anyone else wondering WTF these clowns are on about (I'm sure you can work out what WTF stands for, if you can't - you probably just said it out loud while wondering).
We probably could get some sort of commonly used abbreviations thread happening for those not sure what means what. There's already been a few mentions along the lines of some folks not being sure what's actually being said when those abbreviations are being bandied about. Have to say I can easily see how that could prove difficult for some of them as they aren't familiar with playing online etc.
Might go start that now actually. It will be in the General Poker Chat section.
thanks Pete for a great explainative reply. I keep reading about Aaron on the forum and it appears he's a better online player than at a real table game of late.
Obviously they can't see his facial expressions or body language which is a win, win for Aaron LOL.
