That's going to be A LOT of chips in play up until 2nd break, especially with greens being required until level 7.
That said, deepstacks FTW!

Re: THE PARAFIELD GARDENS $20 DEEP STACK CHALLENGE!!!
Went along to this last night, was interesting.
A lot less pissed idiots which wasn't exactly terrible, only 1 or 2 clowns thinking it's ok to show the bloke next to them their cards before folding - and they soon got told exactly why that's a rude/stupid thing to do by others at the table which was GREAT to see. Suzie also laid down the law in her opening speech which was actually listened to by those there which was also GREAT to see.
Had about 80 something runners (87?) which was decent for a $20 buyin, still had about 50ish left at around 10pm but the blinds were starting to get reasonably severe so no doubt they would have started to drop like flies. For the night it was top 8 getting paid with 1st place getting around $400 which is reasonable.
Only minor things would need tweaking in my opinion.
No issue with antes coming in so early (it does seem like it's meant to be a turbo deepstack after all) but given the first several levels of antes are 25 or 50 there was a huge lack of green chips and a lot of time was needing to be spent getting change just for the antes which had a moderate impact on the number of hands actually getting played. No real change needed to the structure but maybe just a different distribution of chips in the starting stacks so there's more greens included.
I haven't gone and checked the rule or anything but could someone clarify for me exactly what's meant to happen if a player has to go (and actually does stand up and leave)? Stacks were removed from play pretty much immediately, should there have been any blinding out of those stacks?
Instead of just the one stamp card on the night (as advertised) there were actually two but no money was required to be spent on the 2nd card. Seemed like a promo or gesture from the manager whereby one of the cards was 'stamped up for you' and that was usable as a rebuy (but not an addon). I managed to save it until the break so that meant instead of just the 2nd card being used as an addon for 10k I could use both cards for 10k + 5k.
Not a fan of getting there and finding out things have changed but can't really complain about the extra chips.
Be great if there was some kind of small sign or something letting people know they had to pay the buyin at the bar first before going to register, would save people lining up like sheep for nothing.
Interesting side note: The looks on peoples faces at the mention of "Tournament Captain" were amusing. Several looks of "yeah good on ya dickheads, how lame is that?!?"

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

If someone declares they are leaving the tournament, their chips also leave the tournament.
At least that's how I understand it.

I'm not really fussed too much either way, as long as it's consistent.

I believe they should stay. They dont take their buyin from the prizepool they shouldn't remove their chips. The dealer in each hand should post the blinds and antes accordingly.

Well done mate.
Have to say your game is certainly different to the rubbish I was used to seeing!
Congrats again.
