I'm still considering opening a cash account but not sure if I use my Credit card or one of those vouchers!!!
Last Tuesday at the Wheatsheaf I seen one of the guys with some red $30 vouchers. When I asked what they were Matty said they can be used instead of opening an account with my credit card.
Can anyone please tell me what the limit is, how or where I can get them and how to register with once I have them?
should I open a Cash account with credit card or voucher???

Re: should I open a Cash account with credit card or voucher???
im sure you will get a lot more "expert" advice bob but heres my two bobs (no pun intentended) worth
I have used the voucher system at the last state final and it was quick and painless, i am under the assumption that this will become readily avalible at any 888pl venue in the near future, as far as i know they are $30 vouchers so if you want more you by multiples of.
The idea being that you pay cash then redeem the number of the voucher online which credits it against your account.
From my point of veiw the main advantage this has is that i can put more money on my account with out the knowlege of my wife
.
The credit card deposit is pretty simple and usually fast and painless
Once you punch in your details the money is usually on your account within a few minutes (5 tops), there is more experience on the forum regarding saftey but i think it is well proteceted as how else would all the poker providers out there keep in buisness if they didnt have this option well covered.
positives and negitives for both as always but i think its personal preference

You already have a "cash" account Bob, there's just no cash in it.
Just need to work out how you want to deposit.
Pretty sure when you go to deposit it just asks you for a method.. at which point you can choose either a credit card or a voucher.

The difference between the two sound pretty insignificant.

Bob I have been using a credit card on the internet for over 10 years, mostly for deposits for poker, ebay purchases etc etc I have never encountered a problem as yet.
Banks, poker providers, pay pal etc have secure systems, if you are unhappy to provide your credit card detail on line, there are a numer of other options you can choose.

Just for you Bob, whatever the hell you do, don't EVER reply to ANY email asking for ANY kind of credit card or bank info.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: should I open a Cash account with credit card or voucher???
Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I've been doing Ebay and the likes for a number of years and always where possible used Paypal as a recognised safe vehicle.
I haven't had a cash account with any other Poker site other than Poker Champs. Unfortunately, I had problems with them when the US Treasury wanted their pieces of eight for all USA users avoiding tax on their winnings.
And as silly as it was at the time I had AOL as my provider and they assumed I was a yank and froze my account. I was having an exceptional run and had around $1600 USD after playing online tourneys for around 4 month from a $50 deposit.
After many weeks and numerous attempts via Emails to their support team to get my money I decided to waste it on my online friends that lived in the UK and the states. I got it down to around the $730 USD when I received an Email asking for my bank details as they had done some research and found I was eligable for a total refund.
Having had that sort of a problem I was just a little bit wary of putting a couple of hundred in that I never spent on my trip east and see how I go. Thanks again for your input.

Bob,
I don't have a credit card and use the voucher system and LOVE IT!!!!
Fast, easy and never a problem with it at all.
I highly recommend it.
You don't even need to be a computer nerd to make it work
