Personally I am not a big fan of moving any invitationals to the Friday night.

Just had an email from a player that made me think again.

His concerns were still on the FTT & Deep Stack overlap. What if we push the FTT to 4.30pm start & run to coincide with the Deep Stack finish and have the Buy In Event start in the morning?

Any other ideas?

Moving the regional teams event to clash with main event I dont like. I busted my arse to make the team, there is regional pride on the line here along with bragging rights.

May I suggest the Invitational be run on the Friday Night as the majority of participiants would be from Metro/Gawler areas.

Sat Terminator and Teams

$10 CBI to Sunday afternoon for those knocked out of Main Event and anyone else and a 2nd one Sat .

Thank for the input Gundog but the Regional Teams event is for ALL of SA, not just metro & BG. The regional guys need to able to get down for the weekend to play the FTT & Main Event so it has to be on the weekend for them. (If you remember the Fleurieu mob took it out last time around)

Unfortunately no mater how you swing this, sombody, somewhere along the line is going to miss out on something. You just have to understand that we need to make this work for the majority.

By the way, no teams event this time around. Trying to limit the amount of nightmares I have to deal with over that weekend!

Tim, you know you'd have to look at the number of players that are affected. How many Terminator players are from far away places..


Friday - $5K FTT Terminator Tournament
Start: 7.30pm Expected Finish: 1.30am (maybe a bit of a structure change to finish earlier) *Would have to see how many are from Regional areas.

Saturday - $5K Deep Stack Invitational
Start: 10.30am Expected Finish:10.30pm

- $10 Cash Buy In Event
Start: 11.30am Expected Finish 5.30pm (?) * Main Event tickets to be won??

- $2K Regional Teams Shootout
Start: 6.00pm Expected Finish: 10.30pm (19 people are in both DSI & RTS)


Sunday - $25K Main Event
Start: 11.00am Expected Finish: 11.30pm

Sunday - $25 Cash Buy In Event
Start: 4.30pm Expected Finish: 10.30pm


I really think it's probably too late to change to this format, as people would've already planned their long trips if they were coming down.

But it's an idea.

(And I count 8 people only in Main Event & Deep Stack, if that helps )

What's the expected timeframe for the $10 cash buyin? Same as $25 cash buyin?
On that topic, start stacks for both?

I know it'll probably get moved around anyway but the $25 Cash buyin is listed as a separate thing and not included with the other events in the main article.

EVENT 4 - $2,000 REGIONAL TEAMS SHOOTOUT


My reference to Metro and B&G was the Invitational not regional teams.

May I suggest the Invitational be run on the Friday Night as the majority of participiants would be from Metro/Gawler areas.

My suggestion was to retain the regional teams event on Sat.

As a county player I understand that the majority of us would hope those events we qualified for would enable us to play them all, I have qualified for 4 however 2 run together.( Main event & Venue Winner)

Having this event on friday night would proclude almost every regional player unless they took the day off, it would add an extra night accomadation to their weekend bill also, my qualification would be valueless

Gundog, sorry mate, meant no partners event. You're right, I am getting confused!

Invitational on Friday you reckon? Being a 12 hour Deep Stack that would mean we finish around rego Saturday morning. Who's up for that?!

You should all now begin to see that moving just one event around to suit a few just makes someone else unhappy.

Whatever it ends up being it will be decided for the best of the majority.
