It's that time of year for us Rugby League fans where we get mighty excited about the State of Origin... QLD v NSW. Tonight is the night where game one takes place in the state against state and mate against mate where NSW will learn there fate

As some of you may know I have just moved to SA from QLD and I am sooooo glad they have it on Channel nine tonight That's where you'll find me in front of that TV with a cold beer in my hand cheering on the best footy team in the land.... go the mighty Maroons

sadly i dont think we will ever see it again in AFL

Really? Dude, you're missing out. I've watched many league games at Ch 9 in 2am in the morning, and I've seen a few SOG clashes, great stuff.

lol I did expect some none followers as this end of Australia aint Rugby League fan's, I was just hoping there had to be someone down here that followed it lol. I am an avid sports fan on many level's and seriously Sate of Orgin is HUGE...... There is no love out there on the field let me tell ya and it is very well worth watching!!!!!!

It's kinda sad thou on another note as this will be the first time in my life I will be sitting in front of the TV watching the State of Orgin with no other surporters with me havin a few good ol cold beers.... But it won't stop me getting right into it.... I love this time of year.... this aint just a game guy's this is a Battle where NSW have tried using skill, they've tried using brute force, they've even tried going the biff - now they are reaching for last resorts as they look to stop the Queensland juggernaut bidding for four straight series wins Go Queenslandddddddddddd
