And sorry guys, the Score Boards will be online before midnight tonight I hope.

One little bump to iron out and we are there.

All results have been updated for home events though.

To continue the sporting theme, could venue or online leaderboards (for individual events) be called ladders? or league tables?

Golf has a leaderboard doesn't it?

Boring sport but it's still a sport.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

DREAM TEAM SCORE BOARD = National Board combining all results from online and in venue activity, minimum 5 online games and ten in venue games to qualify and ranked on average of best 15 games (15 games can be a mix of online/in venue or just online and in venue results) - $20K in prizes minimum.

if you are in the top 20 or whatever on each of these scoreboards, do you qualify for the championship main event? top 20 from each state?

Isn't there another thread for this?? Why don't you read and post it there.

Just Kidding.

What Championship Main event?

At the moment no qualification has been granted to these Score Boards. The Dream Team is simply prizes and money. I am also making a rule that if you cash for $500 or greater in any 888PL event you have the option to buy in directly to the Grand Final - choice between money and Grand FInal seat for good score, unless the prize has already been designated as a GF seat.

Home Score Board - I will think about, you need to play 10 away games to qualify for any of the finals. So I need to check this out and think on it.

The answer is yes they will, until I see another reason not to. Or are you implying from the NPL champs for Season 1?

In reality I would like to see some points awarded for some larger field CHallenge Away events.

Garth Kay wrote:Sigh.
Shrugs!

And answers yes.

All special events, whether live or online will have points attributed to them in someway.
These points will contribute to the applicable scoreboard.

I am yet to decide whether the NPL Champs events should have an impact on this in this particular season, but I see no reason why one off special events cannot contribute to Score Board points.

so now i am REALLY interested to know whether these games have points attributed to them? :D

250 points, plus 616 points from the weekend would be awesome :D

If i rembember correctly benny the cunt wernt you and AK Initially opposed to these big 1 off events having points attributed to them, with your thoughts being that this takes away from the people who play a lot of the smaller games and do well ( or something like that)

Interestingly this system has benifited the 2 people that were opposed to it
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Points are generally used for state finals. Regular consistency over x weeks is rewarded by a top 5 placing and entry into y final. Awarding points for a tournament where anything but 1st could be regarded as a failure, seems stupid to me. Ok, so you finished 3rd out of 400, well done. Not begrudging that. When I enter a satelitte, I check the payout scale. I will always be going for that position that awards the prize. Finishing 11th when the FT pays in a 500+ field is the same as finishing 500th. I wouldn't expect anything.

I have no problem with awarding points for the DT LDB through Champs events.

If points are given for the champs event just gone, I still think I can smash benny the cunt :D
