[Teams] Final Rollcall for the event

That's the first time i've actually read through all the players who will be in attendance - the team "Des doesn't like us" has a player i'm going to be particularly wary of.

Well done again to Garth and Brett for all the effort that has gone into making this what should be a fantastic day

It is with deep regret that Fitzy's House of Poker will be unable to field a full side.
After spending a couple of days trying to organise my team and battling a nasty cold myself, i and the rest of the team, have decided to abandon this event.
This may be a blessing in disguise for those people who didn't get their team together in time or really wanted to play.
I therefore suggest someone takes over Fitzy's House of Poker and fills it with poeple interested in playing. There is a lot of posts from people trying to get onto teams, so someone nominate themselves as Captain and get some players together.
I imagine their will be a heap of people at this event looking to join teams at late notice and other teams will have players not turn up on the day for some reason.
If anyone needs to contact me for any reason, just call me on my spare mobile which i'll keep on for the next day or so.
If this doesn't comply with the TD's rules, then just withdraw my team all together.

Brett mentioned that that name was on the team lists as well, had to check it out for myself.
Very interesting. Although I will probably not allow this player to play.
Borderline call. Played one game per season last two and hasn't played this season.

Huh? Which name are you talking about.
The last two only had first names and neither of them wanted to join the npl despite being good home game players. The other 6 are npl players who have all played this season, except maybe Kim, who's surname is actually Sloper.....oops on my behalf for that slip-up.
I play every week at Queens arms along with Steve Channon, Jodie Fitzgerald, Matt Osborne and Kylie Osborne.
Not all had joined the forum, but were going to prior to the event. Things just didn't go to plan this time around.
Hopefully the team name can plough on without us.
