Laura... What is Dead Like Me about?
I used to download a show called Leverage, it was totally awesome, it has Timmothy Hutton in it and the lawyer from Angel, (the Texan one... ohh what is his name??? arrgghhh) and the rest are pretty much unknown, but I totally loved it.
I can't believe I left out M*A*S*H and Whos line is it? (Mind you we don't have foxtel anymore so that is one we don't watch)
and of course from the groan range, Friends.

I totally agree.
Do you remember a show on the comedy channel (Foxtel) Strangers with Candy???
Talk about aquired taste but damn funny... I loved that show.
But can't get it on DVD anywhere over here.

Was a show on Foxtel a few years ago, they only made 2 seasons (that i know of, anyway). It's about a girl who gets hit by a toilet seat that fell from a space station, dies, and is transformed into a grim reaper and she and her fellow reapers go about taking the souls of people about to die. Great show, I love it. I'd love it even more if I could find somewhere that sells the 2nd season and isn't charging $45 for 12 episodes, despite the fact it's been off the air for at least 3 years now.

Re: Favourite TV Shows
The pilot episode of The Shield is easily the best pilot of television, ever. I am amazed at how that show continually knocks me to the ground with its quality writing, acting and storytelling - week in, week out. If you're a fan of drama, get it into it, seriously. I could fap on about my other shows but it'd generally be the same. But get into The Shield, people!

The Shield is an excellent show, very well done. I just haven't given it much time as yet.
