Give it time ...
It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction.

The blind structure will be nutted out, and is so as we speak.
The breaks are being shuffled

Little things will be changed to create a better final product.

i here going around npl is putting there price for the pubs to hold these cbi?

meaning the pubs are going to have be to be more harder with there stamps to try and make some cash bk.

$13 to buyin and $30 to get you stamp cards done that $40 to win make like $200 first. to me it's does not seem worth playing these games.

Luke,

You need to get your information from the correct grapevine. The stamp system should not change for any venue from Free Roll to CBI games. If it does change it will have nothing to do with the price they are paying for us to host poker in their venue.

Did the Kingsford change? Did Parafield change? Let me know if & when is does happen and we'll discuss it further then. In the mean time there's not a whole lot of point discussing something that didn't & may not change.

I was told the stamp system for the wheatsheaf was going to be upped to $4 per stamp because their running CBI's instead of freerolls, i hope it isn't true.

Let's have a look at this blind structure for the Wheaty.

The biggest complaint we received when operating the CBI trial in Victoria was that it went too late, hence why we have such an accelerated format for the launch of CBI's in South Australia.

I would recommend something along the lines of:

25/50 15 Minutes
50/100 15 Minutes
100/200 15 Minutes
200/400 15 Minutes
BREAK 10 Minutes
400/800 10 Minutes
600/1200 10 Minutes
1000/2000 10 Minutes
1500/3000 10 Minutes
2500/5000 500 10 Minutes
4000/8000 500 10 Minutes
BREAK 10 Minutes
6000/12000 1000 10 Minutes
10000/20000 1000 10 Minutes
15000/30000 2000 10 Minutes
25000/50000 2000 10 Minutes
40000/80000 5000 CAPPED

How does that look? We still need to be looking at an 11pm finish at the latest.

During CBI's colour out of chips will occur on a table by table basis during play.

Thoughts on this structure?

I have no problem with that Garth - considering all chip stacks are doubled.

I like that, but I think it could be tweaked a little bit.

How about this? I just threw this together now. Unorthodox to keep the black chips in for so long, but I think it could work. Tell me what you think.

50/100 15 Minutes (7.30pm)
100/200 15 Minutes
150/300 15 Minutes
BREAK 10 Minutes (race out green chips)
200/400 10 Minutes
400/800 10 Minutes
600/1200/100 10 Minutes
1000/2000/200 10 Minutes
1500/3000/200 10 Minutes
2500/5000/500 10 Minutes (race out black chips)
BREAK 10 Minutes
4000/8000/500 10 Minutes
6000/12000/1000 10 Minutes
10000/20000/2000 10 Minutes
15000/30000/2000 10 Minutes
25000/50000/5000 CAPPED (10.25pm - end of capped level).

If you're looking to finish at 11pm, you still have another 30 mins of play, which will be cut out with the higher blinds in later levels (ie push/fold poker).

Also, I don't know if this happened last night, but are antes removed during HU? Seems pointless to keep them.

I’m looking forward to seeing the new structure and I like how Aarons structure still included antes I like the dead money in the middle but it was just to fast, 1 more thing when the blinds kicked over to 10 minute levels their were a lot of complaints about their only being 3 hands per level with all the shoving and this was while we were 2 tables with Matty and Caleb dealing.

3 in 10 minutes? LUXURY! We were only getting 3 in 15 - people are still getting used to antes I guess, and the number of side pots was causing play to slow, long tables and all.

edit: something I meant to look Butler up for last night, was to get him to remind people to use largest denomination chips when making bets - was getting very messy at times.

I'm gonna guess that it doesn't help when someone bets 2200, and counts out 22 black chips, and the next person to act waits until they have put all 22 out in the pot to fold.
