Playing NPL is not about the poker anymore for me.
If NPL said tomorrow there would be a regular game at my local venue, but there would be no vouchers, no prizes, no state finals or big tourney satellites - I would STILL go!
Think about all of the other reasons why poker is great - the mental challenge and the beers with mates. I have found the less i worry about my actual results, the better they are.
So keep playing steve, even if it is just to get a free sportsbet account. Hey who knows, you may have a bets-like-god weekend like me
