People that question the crows recruiting and scouting team are full of it. All the crows can do is selct the best availably youngster at the time. People only complain in hindsight when the play turns out to be a dud.

People talk about anguin and watts and meeson not being the players that everyone (not just the crows) thought they were going to be, but forget the fact that craigy (and the crows) have turned players like bock and rutten from rookie list rejects into all-australian players. Bassett was rookie listed at melbourne and became an all australian for the crows.

And besides Kane Johnson and Tyson Stenglein (2 players), which big names from the crows have ever left to go home? And that was only after 5-8 years with the club? Gundog you make it sound like the crows don't look after their players.

No I was pointing out after Adam Cooney was recuited by the Dogs the Adelaide media was quick to create an illusion that Cooney would come home to Adelaide as soon as his contract was up, but by good player management he will be come a long term doggie. It more the point young talented players with big potential should cared for to prevent the return home syndrome.

And yes the Crows dont look after all its players ie. Luke Jerico for one, he was never given a chance after his injury, but strung along as a stop gap player to fill a hole while favored players were brought back and luke was dropped even after a 5 goal game.

Luke Jericho was given his chance. Kicking 5 in one game and doing nothing the next is exactly your criticism of nick gill and co. from an earlier post.

When you can't defend, can't take a contested mark and can't play any other position besides forward pocket / half forward, then you aren't going to make it as an AFL forward. IMO Luke Jericho is someone who was given almost too many opportunities rather than not enough.

Talk about the best wingers in the world "Adelaide Crows Supporters take the Cake"

Listening to 5AA after game report and Talk back Bones and Rowie both made the statement that the umpiring was a bit one sided but said it had no bearing on the end result.

Then you clown after clown come on and say the umpiring cost them the game, so its ok for the crows to get the better of the umpiring against the pies but when the shoe is on the other foot, its the end of the world.

When will the crows supporter stop believing what the Advertiser and local radio stations say about their team and start to expect balanced sports reporting.

before you comment gundog, did u watch the game? it was an absolute disgrace, worst umpiring i have seen, period

im not going to blame the umpires for the loss, the saints killed us in contested footy and wanted the ball more, they were the deserving winners but how do u have a chance to win when the free count is 30 to 11

I think Cristiano Ronaldo is the best winger.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Yes what go's around comes around and bites you on the Ar$e

Crows V Pies crows go the free ride from the umps

Crows V Saints saints get the better deal from the umps.

So after 2 games scores even.

Start all over again next week for the crows.

But what did not look good was 13 min to go Craigy is shown leaning back in his chair with his hands on his head, as if to say well I've done my job, I'll leave it to you blokes on the field to work it out. By direct contrast a couple of minutes later they show the saints coaches box and Ross Lyon is still working the phoneover.

With all due respect the young blokes from the crows done an great job, it looks like bad luck for hentchle also, I suppose we will have to wait a couple of days to see if his knee is not serverly damaged, hope not.
