Well, bubble boy again last night, which gave me my 4th bubble over 3 NPL seasons. Admittedly, last night I could have held out for 15th, but I wasn't looking to finish in the points, I wanted a high placing (all in AJ, AK called, hit a K).
Just wondering, how many times have you finished bubble? Would you rather be dead last, or bubble? Anyone got 5 or more bubbles?

I'd rather be dead last. Same points for bubble as for last but far less effort goes into finishing in last place 
Of course, if someone forgets to write their name down I'd suddenly find value in being bubble

the first ever night i played (about half way through the first season), i clung on for 15th place. however, this was back in the days when there was a bit of a lax approach to the turbo tables, and there was on still going when i got knocked out. someone comes back in for winning the turbo and i find myself on the bubble.
trust me, after an experience like that, you are determined to kill before having it happen again. and luckily it hasn't.

What makes it funnier is that bobniel, plays at a venue where there is only 25 runners on average, and he has DNP more then he had pointed!

Fixed.
If I had to choose between being the bubble and dead last... I don't think I could. If you finish bubble in a tourny with 80 or more players, isn't that an accomplishment? You may not have finished in the points but you still did well to place in the top 20. Then again, being the bubble does hurt - you may as well have no turned up.

bubble = loser, same as everyone else who didn't point. Just pray there was someone new who just wandered off after the game

I'm with Pete on this one. It just plain sucks. I did it last night for possibly the second, perhaps 3rd time and I would have liked to have gone out much earlier than end up there
