DEEEEEEEEEEEPSTACK!!!!!!

deepstacks on a weekend afternoon are an excellent idea, something i have been hoping NPL would implement for ages.

i also love the idea of a heads up tourney, but i think it would be hard to implement correctly. as you said, there would have to be dealers, which severely limits things.

PLO would be fricken awesome, although in a large tournament setting with the current NPL player base, i think it would be an extreme crapshoot.

what about limit or capped pot games of omaha?

horse would be good, but i dont' think enough people know enough about each of the games.

i mean who plays stud anymore? :P

so my picks are deepstack, heads up and omaha, although the practicality of the last 2 are probably not that great

actually, omaha or horse would work well, as long as it was run at the same time as a holdem tourney. you dont want players that have never played either game before just playing because there is nothign else. but having 2 run at the same time would mean that onyl people that wanna play omaha will.

i didn't know you liked stud todd?

i like the game, but i am no good at it - and it sucks that you dont get to see if you would have hit your draw if you fold :D

i think my next home game should be a horse tourney

PLO8 is my favorite game.

play it online a bit as well, although it sucks when on the turn, people make the nut low, and just instajam - means the rake is pretty high and it sorta kills the game.

anyway back on topic, deepstacks ftw

I'm from the old school of Jackpot and blind poker. I played every Friday night (non speedway season) and or Saturday night for open cash games $50 max bet.

They seemed to have disappeared off the planet and so I started playing big cash games of Manilla around Virginia.

My online choices appear to be very different to most on the forum.

Omaha Hi/Lo ............... as it gives you double options

seven card stud .......... I just like the game as it's got some cards showing but unknown combos with the hidden cards

H.O.R.S.E .................. A mans game but so hard to play with someone who doesn't know all the games involved.

So what 3 would I like to play on NPL venues?

Deep stack is always going to be fun

High Rollers although my cash flows not what it used to be but I can always put a little aside for that one special event.

Pot limit Omaha would be a great alternative to turbo holdem.
