Just some rough calculations...

NPL state final
$26000 prize pool / 800 = $32.50

Pokerstars $100k monthly freeroll
$100000 / 6000 = $16.70

As you can see state final is nothing to get excited about.

well dont go then

most of aren't excited by the prize money on offer, rather just the experience of playing in a big field.

plus, it is always bragging rights to run deep at the state finals

State Final doesn't seem to have 1 player from almost every single table going allin 1st hand though does it Nige? :P
