As far as I know, indoor workers, with air-con, dont get such luck.

1st question. Why do you have a $1100 digital thermometer in the first place.

2nd Questions. Is it really that hard to buy presents for you.

3rd. Thanks for getting an idea for my dad's next present.

:-).
Answer to number 1 would be awesome. What do you do for a living? Or do you really like to know the temperature.

Not being facetious here, but am genuinely curious.

I work for a farm supplies firm mate, i was lucky enough to be given one when we had a deal going for farmers, buy this and get that free.

at the end of the sale period i was given this unit as a gift.

As i said previously it is actually a full weather station so the thermomerter is mounted in the shade, the barometer/humidity, wind direction and digital rain gauge are all mounted on the roof and the readings are sent wirelessly to a screen inside.

its pretty cool but entirely overkill for me, more designed for growers to get the weather conditions correct for spraying ( google delta T if you interested)

benny the cunt,
ill conceed to your radiant temp argment, it is entirely fesiable that the house is throwing the temp reading off.

just for interest it is currently reading 47.9 degrees.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Hot weather is awesome.

I'd rather the hottest day on record, than the coldest day on record.

not this hot though scott

to me, the perfect day is about 32 during the day, dropping to 20 at night.

that way, you can go to the beach if you want, play tennis cricket in relative comfort, and then its warm at night as well

anything over about 36 is too hot.

anything under 18 is too cold.

both types of weather should be banned. maybe i should move to brisbane

20 overnight. that is stoll bloody hot. Give me 26 day and 13 night anyday.

Out of interest, i was in tasmania recently and the lead story on their news was..

"And launceston swelters in temperatures topping a massive 31 degreed, with more tenperatures approaching thirty for the rest of the week, sending people in their droves to the beach or pool" (or somehting like that)

I laughed at the time, but id love to be back there now.
