Hmmm interesting. Pete just got an email back from Brayden in regards to your suggestions. Will post response in the "What's Hot, What's Not" topic.

Re: Poker Families
What about in-laws? Would they count? What about family team made up of 2 or 3 families (partners should count) ie Team of 8 with 2 or 3 family groups.

Re: Poker Families
If i was to organise the tournament, it would be like this.
I think it would have to be immediate family only. This includes, parents, siblings, and spouses, but not boyfriend and girlfriend, uncle, etc. otherwise i think that would get difficult
Two Options:
1. Each family puts in teams of two players, which could be husband and wife, brothers etc. The points they accumulate then get averaged and the winner plays a heads up against the other family member for some sort of prize. I suppose this is just a condensed version of the teams event. Families of 4 then put in 2 teams.
2. Each immediate family puts in as many players as they have. I.e mcdonalds and murrins have 3 each, littles have 5. The points then get averaged across all players, but i think there has to be at least 3 or 4 people in the team.
I know this is sounding a lot like the teams event, which is why i dont think extended family should be included.
