what if a player is signed up to the forum but hasnt actually played NPL before and wont be able to get to a game before that Sunday?
Can he play his first game at the event even though he isnt registered?

I would think no ... It's an NPL event!
I mean, they'll probably say yes but hell, it's been a few months since this has been put together, I can't see why they couldn't have played a game until now.
You could even go to a venue and register, and leave - probably be the same.

1.) Staff teams have not been released yet, will do that Wednesday next week.
2.) All teams must comprise of registered NPL members. In answer to your scenario G____: Absolutely not. You have till tomorrow to get your teams list finalized and player numbers through to Brett.
