Great post Matty.
Pros:
- It improves your game. You learn more from playing against a better player (which the large majority of TD's are).
- You move up a place in the points.
- If you get to heads up play against a TD, its the easiest win in history.
- Good fun to interact with TD's outside the whole "name, number" call up.
Cons:
- You can too many pots.

Re: TD Participating in the NPL.
pros
matty darren, tom etc are good blokes, its fun to play against them
they create action on the tables - not d-onk action, proper action.
cant really see too many cons.
queen, it sounds like you have an issue with a certain TD or a group of people, rather than TDs in general.

Just for everyone's info Ross has been banned for 1 month. This does not mean we want you to comment on it. If you do, consider yourself banned - I am not the most tolerant person.
What it does mean is that replying to him from now on will make you look stupid.
Whilst I'm in a cranky mood....
Bob,
If you spell "query" incorrectly just once more - you're banned too.
In order to assist you with your learning, please find the word you seem unable to spell listed for you below.
query - 8 dictionary results
1. a question; an inquiry.
2. mental reservation; doubt.
3. Printing. a question mark (?), esp. as added on a manuscript, proof sheet, or the like, indicating doubt as to some point in the text.
4. an inquiry from a writer to an editor of a magazine, newspaper, etc., regarding the acceptability of or interest in an idea for an article, news story, or the like: usually presented in the form of a letter that outlines or describes the projected piece.
–verb (used with object)
5. to ask or inquire about: No one queried his presence.
6. to question as doubtful or obscure: to query a statement.
7. Printing. to mark (a manuscript, proof sheet, etc.) with a query.
8. to ask questions of.[/[uote]
I'm somewhat too lazy to go back and see where I wrote it spelt it M8.
SO HOW DID I SPELL IT BLACK BART?????? LOL AND DID MINE HAVE A DIFFERENT MEANING?????

Your version didn't have an alternate meaning, Bob. It simply wasn't a word.

Re: TD Participating in the NPL.
In regards to my comments on TD's playing I'm in the throws of doing a smallish back flip!
I was going over some of my past experiences where I have had the pleasure of playing with or against some of the NPL's employees since joining the NPL in 2007.
And other than that one and only time as I explained in a previous post, I have really enjoyed their company. I enjoyed their chat between each other (shit stiring mostly) which for some reason I found no trouble at joining into and obviously their different mode of play.
I'm really looking forward to playing against Matty and or Darren tonight at the Wheatsheaf in Virginia which looks like it will be a great experience for the start of the new season.
And what the hell, if I knock one of them out early I'm at least g'teed points as if I finished 15th.
So, the negative vibes are all gone, I've done my pre-game exercises (sitting & standing) and I'm all fired up to make it a good nights entertainment and a good start to the season.
Good luck to everyone tonight but not too much if you know what I mean.

I don't know - it's a bit gay, don't you think?
Not that there's anything wrong with that!
