Damn straight, been/being, common mistake I spose LOL.

I told you I would come J-Mac, so here I am! Now we are slowly getting some more Victorian players here I might stop hiding out in the Staff section.

I just went through it again rather quickly.

I think I have fixed it up.

Adam I have enormous trouble with being and been it is something I cannot shake, sorta like the opposite of OCD.

Just like I cannot remember my mum's birthday, 20th or 21st??

I needed to get that out there and share my thoughts with all. It was one of those big picture moments for me.

LOL. Thinks its the 20th. Either way, can't lose on that day. If it is the 21st then at least we can pretend we are busy the next day and might not have a chance.

Yes we are bad sons. :-). But out parents understands our faults. :-) They don't forgive, oh no, they honestly do pick them apart.

Touching piece Garth. I feel left out. But did bring a few tears to my eyes, getting emotional over here. There are many stories out there like that. And it think Matty G and Tommy are the two standouts in Many.

For love of the game.

Hahaha ... damn u were quick Adz !!!

Can't wait to see more vic players on here !

We're slowly crawling out of the woodwork...C'mon guys !!!

I was also reading your post Garth ...God i hope i wasn't the one who wrecked it with what i said in my previous post. Last night was the only time I have ever disputed my chip stack. Please put my mind to rest.....

To be quite honest a certain player has ruined it for all Metro West players by continually claiming to be chipped down at EVERY event and sometimes at both breaks. I believe some players are taking advantage of the honor system and thus I have enforced this rule.

METRO WEST BABY !!
I owe my success to having listened respectfully to the very best advice from you all, and then going away and doing the exact opposite !!

Dam you Garth, I was reading your long post and absorbing it like a blotter. And then I came to the Matty G story (who I also enjoyed playing with except for his pocket tens LOL) and the old eyes started to well up up a little.

And then you had to go and tell the Tommy story. Well, thanks a lot you bugger, you've achieve what no man before you has been able to do and make a grown man cry.

Great read M8 and the thing is you know you are very fortunate to have a great team who are prepared to support you all the way. A great Forum thanks to Dave and crew and some very dedicated and loyal punters of all ages, even those who are about to turn 65 on Monday. :o

I'm sure there are many, many, more good stories that relate to people whose lives have changed so much since you introduce NPL to SA, and I'm sure there will be many more in the future.

I am so glad you decided to come back on the Forum as it was dying a slow death without your comments or explainations to various posts, whether they were good or bad they were missed by us all.

In closing, I was also gonna PM you about (being & been) too, LOL.

Cheers M8 and Steve G ................. don't go there, okay!!!!!!! :D

Nah, they are mosly boring family people with little or no poker skills except for Jerry & Sandra Ison  Oh and my little shit son Joel :o

Actually there are 4 of us celebrating Dec 8th. Apart from myself there is my M8 Big Trev, my brother inlaw Jeff, and my nephew Mitchell, plus Joel turned 24 on Nov 30th.

Should be a good night as I'm doing the catering myself and they can bring the booze, LOL.
