Re: REDBACKS - Season Long Thread
I don't believe SA ran with the Redbacks moniker back then - so the answer is still zero

Nope they didn't scott, well picked up. except for the fact that i never mentioned the redbacks, merely SA
I love sports conversations about random trivia from years ago though. Great stuff.

Re: REDBACKS - Season Long Thread
OMFG just after the redbacks have a great win, this happens
after 29 overs, they were cruising at 1/137, going at around 4 an over, so they were looking set to get 260+
then they lost 2/2 to be 2/139
then after a 49 run partnership, they lost 4/1!!!! thats right, 4 wickets for 1 run.
and then after an 18 run partnership, they lost the last 3 wickets for 4 runs in the space of 4 balls, to be all out for 205 in 45 overs.
surely one of the worst SA performances in a while - as soon as a partnership breaks, they lose the plot and the opposition just runs through them
so if you look at it, 7 of their wickets fell, and in the meantime only 9 runs were scored. 3 were runouts as well, which is really inexcusable.
if it wasnt for klinger and younis again, it would have been much worse

Could be worse macca its a Victorian saving them from total humilation.
SA is the laughing stock of domestic cricket sack the SACA board and start a new nothing much has changed from last year, different coach different captain same result.
surely cossie is better than some of the galahs playing now, he maybe a tad overweight it didn't hurt the Keg on legs Boonie playing for OZ
