Before I started working for NPL I honestly couldn't get a game ANYWHERE with ANY of my mates or associates. I wasn't that good either back then, just a hell of a lot better than them. I took their money and ego's week after week, month after month and they thought i was just lucky. "he's always got good cards", "he always knows if I'm bluffing", "i never know what he's got". These were the statements i'd hear all the time. Why?

They watched it on TV and played amongst themselves, I played on-line and read books. MADE A MONSTER OF A DIFFERENCE!!! 8-)

haha, i love NPL'ers who have semi-moderate success and think they are gods gift to poker.

Not saying i am better, worse or otherwise here, its just that i know that im a low stakes online player and a good/average NPL player. Not any more than that.

And even if i was better (cue garth or toddy or hell, lots of people) i wouldn't go spouting how good i think i am every 5 minutes.

Not sure if this is tongue in cheek and missing the smilie at the end (and if it is ill retract all of the above), but otherwise this, and a few other posts are pretty poor form IMO.
