Postby Garth Kay » Mon Dec 01, 2008 4:20 pm

Venue: Arkaba Hotel
Date: Sunday, 21st December, 2008
Address: 150 Glen Osmond Rd, Fullarton, 5063
Qualification/Buy in: 4 Final Table Tokens.

As promised, and as an early Christmas treat, the NPL in conjunction with the Arkaba Hotel will be hosting an FTT event. This event will be capped at 400 players who can redeem four Final Table Tokens for an action packed day of two different tournament structures.

Early registration for this event can be achieved by leaving your member number in this thread.

The day will commence with a registration period of 9am till 10.30 am.

Our first tournament kicks off at 11am. This tournament will be a shootout event with a slight cannonball twist at the end. A shootout format is when all tables commence at the same time, each table must play down to one or two players, and those players progress further into the tournament.

The tournament will progress as follows:

Tournament 1 - SHOOTOUT
Round 1
Start Stack: T1000
Blinds: 15 minute levels

Top two will progress through to Round 2; each winner receives a chance at the lucky draw. Luck draw prizes range from booby prizes all the way up to Copags, Ultimate Dealer Buttons or Poker Books.

Round 2

Start Stack: T2000
Blinds: 10 Minute Blind Levels

Top two will progress to final round, each winner of a table receives a chance at another lucky draw prize.

Round 3
Start Stack: T3000
Blinds: 5 minutes for first five levels, 10 minutes for all remaining levels.

This round will be played in a Multi Table format, all players will be seated and we will play down till only one player remains.

The winner of this event will receive $100 cash and a poker book library.

Our Second Tournament will commence at 4pm. This will be a partners event in a multi table format. Only players who have competed in first tournament can play in this event. Partners must be sourced from the 400 FTT players.

Tournament 2: Partners Event.

The first player will start the first blind period with T3000. After the completetion of the first blind level the second partner will then take over his partner’s chip stack and will add another T3000 to his stack. If in the unlucky circumstances of your partner being eliminated in the first level, you will be seated in that blind level with your T3000 start stack.

Partners will continue to swap play every blind level. Blinds will be 15 minutes in duration.

The winning team will receive $400 and our runner ups will receive $200.

Of course there will be trophies on offer for this event.

If you have any questions to do with this great event or any general questions at all please post your thoughts in the above thread or send an email to garth@npl.com.au

Glad everyone can read... It doesn't say Name & Number, just number :-P

So, from what date were FTT's given? Cos I think I have enough, but can't remember when they were handed out (and subsequently thrown into carparks) ;)
