Has to happen in my books. (not that cossy has passed 50 in a grade game yet this season - but hardly anybody has. i just think we are a better looking team with him in it)

first point how does dropping a promising local for a fat, slow, batsmann who obiously has no self controll, or care about him self or his team mates, make us a better side.

2nd point, clinger is curretly the form batsman in the competion, so why change his postion and risk that form, especially to burdon him with opening.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

the problem is, he is without a doubt one of the most talented batsmen in the country

if he didn't have this weight issue, he would prolly be in the australian team by now.

i dont think its time to give up on him yet

i completely agree benny the cunt, he is talented, but obvioulsy lacks the self controll and disipline to be a top level sportsman, it is completely up to him now, he has been given all the support he needs, if he wants it enough he will live up to his full potential.

The sporting wilderness is littered with the carcasses of those people that had the talent but didnt have the will to grab what could be their's.

On the other side of the coin there are those sportsman who are not as tallented but through sheer will and work ethic become great champions.

This is the beauty of sport.

tallent is only 1 thing needed to succeed at the highest, more importantly it takes hard work and disipline (something i dont have ).

I haven't seen him for a few months now but I thought he lost a heap of weight (Cosgrove) & was looking pretty good?? Or has he stacked it all back on again?

i think he is struggling to keep the weight off, but i also haven't been to a game in a while, so i am not sure.

hope he does though, it would be a shame so see that talent go to waste

Well Boof & Boony managed to forge successful careers while carrying a few extra kilos but Cossie hasn't gone to the next step. Unfortunately he is now in his mid 20's & his career hasn't progressed over the past 4-5 years.

I would love to see hime hit the big time but the clock is ticking...
