Lovely work there Hull City!

Always good to see a newly promoted team doing well.. I think all 3 newly promoted teams are doing pretty well so far while established clubs (who regularly spend LOADS of cash, benny the cunt) are struggling.

Speaking of....

WTF???

Tottenham have sacked Ramos and are going to steal Redknapp from Portsmouth!!!!!!!!!

Must be something rotten in the air at Portsmouth for Harry to up and leave like that, they have been doing consistently well under Harry - despite the fact he looks like a clown without the makeup!

Still, if anyone is going to get the best out of the players at Tottenham then it's Mr Harry Redknapp - his track record of doing just that speaks for itself.

In other news, Everton held Manure to a 1-1 draw. That's fantastic.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

pete, this is the biggest load of crap to ever come out of your mouth.

the big 4

chelsea - 1st
leverpool - 2nd
arsenal - 4th
man utd - 5th

so the exception is hull in 3rd, and other than that, all of the big 4 are in the top 5

so seriously pete, get your facts straight

Talk to me when you know something benny the cunt :P

Liverpool and Arsenal are NOT amongst the biggest spending clubs.

Chelsea certainly are, miles in front of anyone on that front.
Man Utd spend quite a bit lately too.

Newcastle have notoriously spent far far too much over a long period of time, and spent it poorly.

Tottenham are always spending but not always sensibly.

Hull, Stoke and West Brom are all doing well without breaking the bank.

pete, we are going over old ground again

liverpool and arsenal would be in the top 5 or 6 of biggest spending clubs.

http://www.footballeconomy.com/statistics.htm

Has a link to this page Transfer Spending by English Premier League Clubs in 2004

I have no idea of its veracity, or much else really (me not being the EPL geek that some on here are), but interesting anyway.
