One of them (Klinger?) did alright in the 1st innings - can't be too harsh

Mind you, the fact I can only speculate about his name tells you how much interest they have been able to command over the last few years :(

They lost 9/100 this morning... Cullen did well!

We are 1fer already, with Plant out - but Harris and Klinger are scoring pretty well in the short time they've had.

Klinger was recruited from Victoria in the off-season rcon. That's a good reason enough not to know of him.

Ah, but in times gone by, I would have been up to speed on such things. I can tolerate regular failure by a team I support (bombers anyone?) but there needs to be some promise shown here and there, and even some evidence the team actually cares. They have not shown that lately :(

I think they care.

But there's this thing called ability that we've been lacking of recent years. You can care all you want but if you just aren't good enough .. well, it's hard!

Klinger was good for his old state - did well. I was happy when we picked him up.
