Re: Quickly whilst IT is taking demands
Here are my thoughts on the IT situation.
From an operator point of view i think it would be great if i could log into the NPL site and update specific venue information such as prizes.
I would also like to be able to post articles, with the articles though, maybe they could be scheduled so that before they go live they do need to be approved by admin of the state operator. This could cut out the need to email the operator or admin who would then have post the data.
For the players i think the career options would be great, we could even add such tools to let players know the average points score of players regionally based of even statewide. Just more stats to compare too.
The website itself is quite functional but could go with revamp esthetics wise.
I personally haven't logged into the site as a player in long time but maybe players could set up more comprehensive profiles so that when are on some ones friend of foe list (as suggested) they could see a whole range on information, like where they like to play, where they will playing next week.
I know a lot of what i am asking would be very time consuming to produce but it would still be cool.
Regards

Nathan,
Email me first with what you want put up on the website;
like I have been asking our operators to do for the last month, especially when I have been asking for an update on venue profiles and I have two operators get back to me. Thanks Dakota and Matty.
And it is aesthetics: functionality and appearance.

Re: Quickly whilst IT is taking demands
just had another idea
when you navigate to a venue leaderboard on the NPL website, it would be good to see a figure for average runners for the current season for that venue.
this would make it much easier for people to seek out venues that they like playing at (whether it be a big field or a smaller field)
what does everyone think?

Related to this, it would be good to see the number of runners for each week at the venue on the venue's screen (ie where it shows the venue's details and when the events are being held at the venue). This way you don't have to click on each week to see how many runners they had that week

something so you can quickly and easily work out how many runners a venue gets

can someone in management make it known to the IT department that all of their links on the NPL website are broken when you use firefox?

I can't access npl.com.au off my phone. Whenever I click on SA, it returns to the same page
