while you spend your time lamenting what if's
we will be out celebrating another win of some sort because thats what we do at liverpool
we win things................... a lot of things
and not only do we win things but we do it well
take 2005, not enough to win the CL trophy but we had to create history and win the greatest comeback in the history of the game
why
because thats what we do
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

lets get onto the bigger issue of the EPL being boring
what is the point if there are only ever 3 or 4 teams out of 20 ever have a hope of winning ever?
here is a good quote actually
any league without a salary cap is flawed

The EPL as we know it has only been around since 1990.
I'm curious as to your definition of boring... any team can beat any other team on any given day. Newly promoted side Hull just beat Arsenal in their own backyard. Wigan just beat Man City who currently have more to spend than ANYONE in the EPL.
Then there's the domestic cup competitions... every year some team from the lower divions (or sometimes from even lower) who is expected to get thrashed will beat a Premier League side. Cardiff city made the FA Cup final and they're not even in the Premier League.
Don't even dream of mentioning 0-0 scorelines. They are so rare nowadays it's not funny and I'll gladly refer you to the 0-0 halftime scoreline in the Adelaide vs Kashima match as being one of the most entertaining halves (indeed matches) you'll see in a long time.

It's one of the many things I love about the sport
I've also already heard every lame argument under the sun
I'm almost in the mood to start on how the AFL finals are just like a domestic cup competition but this thread isn't the place for it
