Old as well.
And new.
Lots really =)

Older stuff I love;

- The Doors
- The Allman Brothers Band
- The Beatles

Older rock, Deep Purple, etc.

Huge blues fan - love anything like that. And Jazz.
I'm listening to Coltrane, and some Davis at the moment (much to the detriment of my co-workers)

Of more recent times, huge Pearl J am fan, and most things that era that isn't Nirvana. Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains (rip), Screaming Trees etc.

Big big Mike Patton fan. Love Faith No more, Mr Bungle, Fantomas..

Nearly all music I like has a guitar. Not a fan of anything overly electronic. Some songs are ok - but overall, not my cup o' tea.

Yeah, Joels into most of those too and heaps more and we're slowly getting Steven to enjoy songs that you can actually sing along with too LOL.

Karaoke (spelling error but you know what I mean) type tunes are good ones as we all seem to know some of the words most of the time.

Megadeth's Risk album.

Much maligned in the same way Metallica's St Anger was, but I like it nonetheless. It's different, not necessarily bad.

Listen to Megadeth's first four albums in a row, then listen to Risk and tell me it's not bad. When people label it as such, it's a relative term, and I couldn't agree more. That said, anyone and everyone should have listened to Rust In Peace start to finish before they die. It is the best thrash album ever as far as I'm concerned.

As for music I've been listening to as of late, according to stats:

Powerglove: Metal versions of videogame songs. For a nerd like me, this is awesome. For others, probably less so :P.

Amorphis: Great band, early stuff is death metal, later stuff mellows out into melodeath, but it's all good. Tales from the Thousand Lakes and Silent Waters are the albums getting the heavy rotation, but it's all pretty solid.

Turisas: Check out their cover of Boney M's Rasputin on Youtube, this pretty much explains why I like this band. Fun folky-themed metal is great, and if you like these guys, check out Finntroll and Eluvetie also.

Savatage: Lotta people seem to be aware of Trans Siberian Orchestra who do heavier versions of Christmas songs, but Savatage get nowhere near enough love, despite the fact TSO essentially evolved from them. These guys were doing Metal Operas before Avantasia and Ayeron were on the scene, and kicking all sorts of ass while doing so. If you need a specific album, Hall of the Mountain King is the one to go for, but I liked most of their discography.

Kreator: Pleasure to Kill is the only album of theirs I own, but it's awesome to bang your head to.

Keep of Kalessin: Melodic Black metal. The drummer is insane, and despite their latest album being a tad disappointing, I love these guys.

The Mountain Goats: An indie band that produces catchy songs with clever lyrics. Lotta material is fairly lo-fi, but it's all good. Tallahassee, We Shall All Be Healed, All Hail West Texas, The Sunset Tree and Heretic Pride are all good albums...as are the rest, really, but those are the highlights.

That'll do.

We prefer the term "band-aid" ,OK! :P

You guys should have seen the X-rated version of that clip. They played it over and over at the launch night at Jive. Gold!
No I wasn't in it- it involved a lego man, a lego horse and a GI Joe- you can join the dots..... :o

And yes, The Trafalgars do rock- get on 'em. ;)
