it was a good call by aaron when he called my all in with Q4 bottom 2. He took a while and he nearly laid it down - which is what i was hoping for

when he raised i wasn't surprised as he could have had anything from the BB. but i put him on either a K or a Q. so i thought if i went over the top all in, i would get him off any pair that he was playing. i was only getting called by KQ or Q4 or 44 (i didn't think he would limp AGAIN with a monster like KK or QQ)

and even if he did call, i still had outs - which i ended up hitting and then getting re-outdrawn.

well done aaron, deserved.

did u lose a hand? good read though, well done

It wasn't really a "run," I'd say. The only great hand I picked up was AA - the rest was just poker. I hit, yes... but I believe the only reason I get paid off on AA, AQ and to an extent, Q4, is because I allowed my opponents to make the move. Essentially, trapping them. Ok that sounded better in my head, let me try and explain it :P

If I raised 3x with AA, JD was folding those 8s. 2x, he might have called, or pushed (in which case it would've got very messy :D). But my limp early indicated that I wasn't strong, allowing him to think he was ahead... and make the wrong move. Same with the AQ check. The check-raise with Q4... benny the cunt knew I was very strong there, but he had outs, as he said. It was a good push.

Cheers guys, it was a good night. And yeah, 3 wins from 7 games, not to toot my own horn or anything but some new competition would be nice :D
