Chops - Smart or Soft?

I was unaware any online sites offered the option to make a deal through the software itself - would this be a matter of the winner transferring the difference to the loser? Because in that case, I wouldn't agree to anything, because while I'm honest, I don't trust anyone on the internet to be, and have little doubt that should my opponent win, they'll conviniently forget to transfer it, and I'm unsure chatlogs represent any binding agreement. That said, assuming it was all set in stone, I'd take a chop there. As you said, getting to the crapshoot stage, and your chip lead isn't so commanding that you have much leverage to argue for a better deal, or such that the risk involved in heads up is minimal.

if two players agree u contact the live support n they organise the chop

I think if you are guaranteed a decent amount already, especially if it's considerably more than your buy-in, tell em to get stuffed.

Worst case scenario is you make a profit... that's so so terrible to have to live with.

to me it all depends on the amount of cash it is, for anything less than $100 i wouldn't bother with a chop, but if it like for a $1000 difference then i would consider it

I'd chop for less than I was entitled to... it's just what I do.
