Re: Acting out of turn.
Sounds like they should have been held to it...and the TD should check their email I'm guessing
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Hi Bacon,
Can you PM with the TD's name please, they won't get into trouble but this situation needs to be rectified.
We don't spend almost two weeks coming up with a rule book so staff can dis regard it and implement old rules.
Cheers.

Aw I missed it..
But I didn't miss a TD tonight telling me that the player betting out of turn MUST check.
I think you should put me on the payroll Garth.

Re: Acting out of turn.
Yeah it annoyed me the other night when i was trying to explain the conept of an angle shoot to a table of dum-dums who had never heard of it and swore that 'the rule' book says that a player acting out of turn must check if the player before them checks.
Made it worse when they called the TD over to check the rules, and the TD agreed with the 'experts' (you know the type) on my table and said the same. When i explained the concept of angle shooting to the TD and why out of turn raises can be binding, he went all quiet and walked to another table.....
interesting....

Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

Re: Acting out of turn.
I've jammed out of turn(in a non NPL event, of course) Des, which caused the rest of the table, including the original bettor, to fold. Was my intention to force everyone to fold? Maybe. So was I angle shooting? If I, and the rest of the field know that out of turn actions are binding, and my out of turn jam results in the desired uniform fold or singular call, is my dodgy isolation bet angle shooting?

And yeah, i know i'm taking it to the Nth degree, but in the right spots it can be employed.
