Anyone got a coherent reason for backing any teams this weekend?
I really can't see the pies getting up, but the saints never win when there is something riding on the match. Similarly I can't see the dogs losing, yet the swans played really well last week.
My tips currently stand as swans and saints, but i'd really like someone to give me better reasons for backing them.
can you tell i'm bored?

Re: This weekends AFL tips
i tend to think the bulldogs will get over sydney, and that the saints will beat collingwood.
not sure why though
sydney do have a lot of finals experience, and collingwood played awesome footy to beat adelaide last week, and its hard to back up after copping the inevitable pounding from geelong
meh got a coin?

Re: This weekends AFL tips
The Bulldogs' played Sydney twice this year, for two wins - both of which were outside of Melbourne. Playing this one at home ... I reckon the Dogs will put it together for this game after an indifferent last month or two.
Bulldogs by 22.
Saints v Collingwood ..... I think there's a puddle in my backyard I might watch evaporate in lieu of watching this game.
Collingwood by 6 points.

Sydney by 14 and Hall is going to be suspended indefinately for being aggressive. It's about time they beat the Bulldogs and I think they'll rise to the occasion.
And as much as I don't like to admit it, I think that collingwood will beat the saints but it'll be ridiculously close. It'll be a goal difference max.

Re: This weekends AFL tips
I seriously think its the Dogs to beat Sydney. Just think they have the quality to win it.
I've gone for the Saints, because my son has picked the Pies, and that way, we'll still have an entry in the Slaughter comp we're in, with a chance to win over $2200.

I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Re: This weekends AFL tips
i went to the bulldogs vs swans game, as a crows supporter and having no care in who wins cant say i really enjoyed the game, but maybe that was the small crowd and lack of atmosphere
