slaps at checkers

Hi guys and girls,
Some of u prob by now know who i really am. I run the Checkers double on a Monday, amongst other venues, a lot of the Npl staff come to the second game after there shift to play. Due to the high number of staff that come here and play, we have implemented slap bets during the breaks(for Npl Staff only). For those unfamiliar to slap bet, here are some of the guidelines:

cards are washed in the middle of the table, each player picks a card from the centre, whoever picks the higher card gets to slap the other player across the face as hard as they can.
The winner must then accept challenges from any other challenger, the only way u can avoid being slapped is if u the winnner wins 3 rounds in a row.
However, if the winner does not give the other player a proper slap(say a love tap), the loser has the the right to slap the winner as hard as they can.
if both players pull the same card(suits don't matter), then both players get to slap each other

Last night Garth came out on top managing to slap down nathan, Shaun and myself at the first break, so he managed to retire unscathed for the night.
In the second break i went heads up with nathan, nathan draws a 10, he thought he was pretty safe, but unfortunately for nathan i drew an ace. a huge smack echoes across the room. If u think we don't take slap bets seriously, i have added a picture of the result of my slap against nathan. He tells me it still hurts, lol, what do u guys think?

the numbers last night for the second game jumped from 45 the previous week to a record 81 runners last night(due to slap bets, i'm convinced of this lol). However, the first game is a bit down on numbers, so the manager and myself have come up with a promotion for the rest of October and November, and that is, if u play the first game, u will be entitled to get double the amount of stamps for the second game. It's a great offer, so if u don't have a regular venue on a Monday, be sure to come down to Checkers and give it a shot.

I too read it as that as well and was compelled to come and see what the evil dealing Decepticon had to say. At least we'll now know when the TD's are rocking up a little 'red' faced, we'll know why. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next
