Des at Pokerstars

Postby Des » Fri Dec 28, 2007 10:41 pm

Been playing at PokerStars during the off season and have been dabbling in a few of the other forms of poker!

Was playing some 25c / 50c PL Omaha Hi/Lo and here are the stats for my session. Start off with around $13 and left with $28.

During current Omaha H/L session you were dealt 83 hands and saw flop:
- 16 out of 16 times while in big blind (100%)
- 17 out of 17 times while in small blind (100%)
- 48 out of 50 times in other positions (96%)
- a total of 81 out of 83 (97%)
Pots won at showdown - 25 of 36 (69%)
Pots won without showdown - 17

The 2 hands I folded were to raises preflop. Other than that, the table was pretty tight, and most times I saw a flop cheaply which I think is a good thing for Omaha Hi/Lo.

Anyone else play this?

I've played it a bit... very interesting and fun.

Ask my brother (of the Scott variety), he swears by it.

I think he would consider Texas Hold'em as going out to a restaurant and getting a parmy... and Omaha H/L as getting the grain fed, slow cooked for a day porterhouse.

Hi,
I've played it a bit. One thing I find about this game is the nuts is usually always on the board by the time the river hits!

Stud Hi/Lo is just as good.
