I think the aim of this is to encourage people to get off their rears and show up on time thus giving themselves suitable time to stamp up. If someone has to wait ages for their meal then that's clearly different and not what I'm getting at.
How many times have we all seen a game where it's 6:30 reg for a 7:30 start and players walk in the door at 7:25 onwards then have a cry if they have to wait to be seated?
I think this is a great idea.
