Goonawardana Wins 200,000 With Jack-High!
In an amazing battle of the blinds Marlon Goonawardana has doubled through Garth Kay.
Preflop, Goonawardana made it 9,500 to go from the small blind and Kay made the call in the big blind.
They took a flop of Kd 6s 7s and Goonawardana led out for 20,000. Kay then slid out two stacks, and although he meant to raise to 60,000, the action was declared a minimum raise to 40,000. Goonawardana sensed weakness and moved all in, but Kay snap-called.
Kay showed 8s 4s for a straight-flush draw, and remarkably eventhough Goonawardana was making a move, he actually held the lead with Js 2c.
The turn was the Qh and river the Kc and Goonawardana's jack-high held up to win a 210,000 chip pot!

Honestly.
This i so want to be there to watch now.
After taking that Hit, Garth is going to be ready to start fighting.
He will get it back up to 100k no problems.

Think good reads by both players.
Think if had pushed out the 60k and Cbetted it, might have netted him the pot. or the other guy might have folded.
All in all. He is still good. Just need those aces to come up against Ak
