You needto change the way you act when you play your hands. You have the same facial expressions and body language for every good hand you play and you have a complete opposite facial expression and body language when you're bluffing.
Basically it's easy to tell when you have something awesome or something carp. It's not the taking ages thing when you have the nuts either.
I would post it here but then I lose my advantage over you to all the other players so if you're interested ask me :)
If you've got luck...use it!

Deepstack is entirely different. Especially considering blind structures. Deep Stack Turbo's are just stupid. It is essentially a short stack regular speed.

Deepstack 10 minutes. You are probably playing too many flops, trying to build an early stack. And this follows into later levels. When people will call your raises light, hit and take it down.

bennymacca wrote:i think this is a good strategy in these games, because people often get blinded by their top pair or overpair, and play this VERY aggressively.

for some of the higher limit games, i tighten up a bit, probably go down to around 25%, but this is still pretty loose i would think

Why change your strategy between levels. I know this may sound weird, But at a lower level playing tighter is good. Get your money in when your good. Variance just kicks you in the nuts.

But if your playing the same (32-35%) at a higher stake, these players won't be able to guess what hands your raising with, and are more likely to fold or raise rather than flat call. Play to your opponents skills as well.

bennymacca wrote:as for betting preflop, probably around 30%, probably less, especially at the low limits. LOL online low limit u better have premium hands when u raise

This is where structuring your bets becomes important. Especially in deepstack. You have to find a level for each player where they feel uncomfortable calling a preflop raise. If you raise with premium, they will start calling a lot more, knowing what kind of hands you are raising with.

Position also plays an important part in this. A la early position, raising with Aces or Kings leave you open to a lot of callers. Where as flat calling the BB leaves you the option to reraise or to push against the raiser. Also flat calling with 4 players, 4bb in the pot. And then leading out with a pot bet. Means you have spent 5bb to win 9bb (55% of money put in pot). Rather than leading out with a 3bb, with 4 players, then potting to win a 24bb (12+12) pot spending 15bb (62.5% put into pot.)

Not to mention the second scenario means that you have a lot of players that will try to outdraw to win the big pot

my flop percentage was 24% last night after 150 hands of a tourney (and i came 2/45)

i think it really depends on what position i get my limping cards in as to how many flops i play
