I will be looking at where NPL programs new venues to compete with the OZ Poker at the Plush Hotels.
For mine, it is the people (TDs) who make the NPL a fun organisation to be involved with. I haven't experienced APL or OzPo, but I have no real reason to either, as the NPL and its people already run a tight ship.
In addition, I have heard a number of comments re APL in particular, but rarely anything good.
OzPo has been running at three venues in Adelaide and one at (I think) Pt Pirie. Only had one piece of feedback on them, and it wasn't good.

This is a great thing. But i wonder hoe many people are in the same boat. Keep us updated as to whether numbers remain the same with no NPL. My feeling tells me they will be even less then they once were. It will be interesting.

I kind of have sat on the fence in this thread apart from my opening post, But here is just a few things i feel i need to say.
The T.H. appears to have been a victim of circumsatnce. By that i mean it is part of a group of pubs and when the group changed carriers they had to go with them.
I sincerely enjoyed every game that i ran at Tanunda as well as the support that i recieved from their staff. I have the upmost respect for the pubs manager Ian who genuinely tried absolutely every thing in his power to make poker a huge success.
But unfortunately business is business and both parties now need to move on.
To the players of the T.H. thankyou for making my time there so enjoyable and i hope to see you at future npl games in the region.
