he said that all cards are equal until the flop is dealt.

so i asked him is AA the same as 72 preflop?

he said they were, because u never know, the board could come 77 or 22 or 72 (or words to that effect anyway)

it was hilarious, untill he busted me out of the tournament in 3rd when i had a good chance of winning.

I was playing with a mate online (his first time online) and he was in BB 50/100, and he had about 900 left. He gets AA.

#3 called & #4 went all in for 2500. My mate folded. #3 called (about 1500).. #3 Q9, #4 AA.

I asked my mate why he folded, and he said that the other bloke (#4) might've hit trips or a straight on the flop.
