I'd prefer to keep Crouch and offload Voronin. I'm not convinced Barry is worth that much and I'm just as unconvinced about selling Finnan. Having said that though, I trust the manager knows what he's doing so we'll just have to wait and see.

I've read in 2 different places that Villa is indeed on his list (but he expects it to be extremely difficult).

I'm a little bit over hearing about Ronaldo and Real Madrid. It reminds me very much of when Beckham went... all this talk of 'he's not going' and then suddenly he's gone. I expect that he will go but not after the hairdryer treatment from old puce-face.

Sunderland have been splashing the cash a bit... they've nicked Chimbonda from Tottenham and it looks as though they are about to get Diouf from Bolton. Seems they are finally starting to get some 'name' players into the side. Be very interesting to see how they go this season, I absolutely hated Roy Keane as a player but I will admit he looks to be a good manager.

Interesting to see what's been going on at Blackburn too.. probably their most consistent player, Brad Friedel, looks like he's going to Aston Villa and they have brought in Paul Robinson from Tottenham. Only time will tell if that's a huge mistake or not. Blackburn also really need to keep hold of Bentley and Santa Cruz if they don't want to go backwards.

Robbie Keane looks to be leaving Tottenham and heading to Liverpool, I'm pretty excited about this as he's a player who definitely has a lot of passion to go with his skill and he's also a lifelong Liverpool fan (but they all say that!).

Berbatov also seems to want to leave Tottenham (will they have any players left?!?) and could be heading to Man Utd. I hope he does go and then pulls a hammy

Newcastle.... what the hell are they doing? Nothing it seems and they really need to get their act into gear. Such a big club, such an average performer in recent times.

Chelsea really need to hold on to Drogba, he's been brilliant for them (and he'd be even better if he stayed on his feet). Lampard doesn't seem to know if he's staying or going either. He's a good player, but he's no Steven Gerrard! They should let him go.

I was thinking similar things about Chimbonda... wasn't it Wigan where he first started really getting noticed? I remember him up and leaving for a better deal each time... definitely seems to be one of those 'it's all about me' players.

Haven't heard a lot about Forlan recently, I do recall his name being bandied about though.

Chimbonda has a season at Wigan, handed in his transfer request straight after the last game of the season. 2 seasons at Spurs, and now to us.

Keane has signed for Liverpool.

AJ probably moving from Everton to Fulham.

Keano wants Diouf & Saha up front.. again I say, we need a striker! At least one that'll play games and not be suspended/injured.
