Well, now that the Oakden Central has played its final poker night (last night), my Tuesday nights are now free, so I'm going to head to the palais next week to check out all the fuss, go you North-Easterners!

Saw Alex (TD) few weeks ago at casino and he recomended the Palais as a great venue he runs, well took a while but just went down 4th Dec,

Alex said great venue! AGREE especially that sunset veiw over the sea.

Said great group of players! AGREE all were excelent and wellcoming.

Said great Staff! AGREE Matt organized an excellent venue set up, Excellent venue prizes (CASH YEAH!) And great staff working on the night.

I enjoyed my evening at the Palais and will recomend the venue to all NPL players, Well worth the travel for some of us,

Now with dessy on a high from sundays playing he should be all fresh n ready to take out some big points this tuesday. I got a very good schooling from alex yesterday and now I realise how much more learning I have to do in the world of poker. Thanks Alex, Andre, Matt and all the staff at semaphore as now its the only time I play a week now lol.

Woah was a tight finish. I was card dead, as per usual. No straight flushes this time.

Last stand was KQ suited vs K10 offsuit vs A5 offsuit.

K10 hits trips and busts my venue leading butt. Woohoo 10 points for me.

All 2nd spot has to do is make the top 15.
17 players to go. Then 2nd place is all in with A10 suited, vs A10 offsuit vs QQ vs KK.

the KK holds, the QQ takes the additional side pot and I somehow hold onto first for the season and a nice little prize of $300.

Its been an awesome season down at the Palais. Really enjoyed myself. The staff there are awesome too. Hopefully a lot more people play down there for Season 3.
