Big Stack Power... With Some Luck
David Peters raised under the gun and action folded to Jeremiah Smith who was still reorganizing his chip stack. Smith stopped talking rubgy with a tablemate and pushed out two tall orange stacks totaling 200,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Peters looked at his stack, then to Smith, and then said "I call," and had his last 160,000 on the line.
Smith rolled over {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} and Peters held {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}. Before any action was dealt, the table was swarmed by media and other players, even some railbirds made it into the fray.
"I'm sorry," said Smith. Implying that a beat would be delivered. "It's your standard race situation."
After the camera crew cleared up the preflop action, the flop came {10-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}, and Smith flopped the straight right off, with a club redraw.
"Running so good!" yelled Greg Mueller from the edge of the crowd.
The turn brought some outs for Peters with the {10-Hearts} and the crowd took a gasp.
The river was the {A-Spades} and that was it for Peters. He quickly made his exit from the room with the ESPN camera team hot on his trail to get some more shots.
Bubble Burst?
There was an eruption from the Blue section, and it spread throughout the room. It appears we have found our bubble boy. Details shortly! Three tables are still playing the same hand.
Bubble Boy
It had to happen sooner or later to someone and that unfortunate soul is Steve Chung. His adversary was Jesse McEwen holding {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades} and it was {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} that Chung decided to gamble with and it all went in preflop.
The board ran {2-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {6-Spades} to eliminate him.
It would normally be the worst position of all to finish but thanks to Milwakee's Best Light he already has his seat for next years Main Event locked. Bad luck nonetheless.

Tony Clark Rockets Up Leaderboard
Australian Tony Clark has just taken down a monster pot with his {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} up against the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} of Pawel Andrzejewski.
The board fell {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Clark eliminates his opponent to jump up to around 600,000 chips.
Clark is a postman from the Gold Coast in Australia and tells us he is having the time of his life here in Vegas after winning his seat in a pub poker series back in Australia. He was excited to be seated with Phil Hellmuth on Day 2 and has enjoyed spending time with his sporting heros in Shane Warne and Jeff Fenech.
His wife was over here with him but had to recently return to be with their 7-year-old daughter, as Tony continues to make a deep run in this tournament.

Re: WSOP News
You can't outplay someone who doesn't know how to play
He'll go on to win for sure!
Best of luck to him too, unless he's from one of those other leagues.

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: WSOP News
well day 4 is done and an unknown has over 3 mill of chips
still quite a few good pro's in the event, Mark Vos (australian hope he does well), matusow, hellmuth, hansen and allen cunningham (cheering for him, has come close a couple of times)
tomorrow should be very interesting indeed, if only there was a live stream

Re: WSOP News
I only highlighted the pub poker bit because I found it amazing that he won his WSOP $10,000 Main event seat through a pub poker league. Probably through placing well in a regional/state final or something, but still, as a prize that's pretty awesome.
Vos is doing very well, has a nice stack. I'm going for Allen too, hoping he can do well. Come on all the Pro's!

Re: WSOP News
Vos busted on the last hand of the day
He raised the big blind and got re-raised a fair amount so Vos pushed all in with A-K, his opponent had him covered and made the call with A-A, the rest is history
Unlucky for Vos but he would be kicking himself
