benny the cunt: I know, I just wanted to hear you go all nerdy on us and explain it :D

I didn't expect you to call anyway, odds or not, because like you said, it would've only left you with 1000. You really should've raised all in.

last night was really funny

heath, bob, AK and myself, were all sitting on the same table, discussing odds and generally giving each other respect when we raised etc

but we were all short stacks compared to two dudes that were by far the worst players on the table LOL

i got re-raised all in by 10J when holding pocket 9s, and bob got his early all in with bottom set called by A5 which hit a straight

good to see you all ended up doing ok though, except for me (my 1010 got smashed early on by AK and AQ hitting one of the 2 remaining aces)

good times :P

this is also why i like online poker a lot - it suits my game being able to calculate odds quickly.

it is also easier to size your bets appropriately online, because the size of the pot is always shown and you don't have to try to add in your head. i think in live poker, i probably underbet a lot of pots and get called too often

i think i need a "pot sized bet" button that i can use in NPL :P

I want to get quads, be in a really small pot and then fold them so I can get a medal from scott. Must make sure to take a picture. I want a medal.

I think in live poker, you just suck at reading people.
