Getting to Renmark Golf Club Saturday Night

Ladies & Gents,
How many of you are staying at the Renamrk Country Club on Saturday night? If you are staying do you have any idea how you will be getting there after 316 beers?

I was in Berri last week for work & asked the local taxi company about the cost & they reckon approx $35-$40 each way. Split 4 or 5 ways this is reasonable but am looking to share with others?

Also we may need to go to the golf club & check in during a break to ensure keys are collected before the reception closes? Let me know if you are interested in sharing a lift. Maybe an announcement can be made on Saturday & a mini bus organised for us??

Well thanks for the smart ar*e reply & I apologise for maybe not making myself a little clearer. I wasn't expecting the NPL staff to do the work, just maybe an announcement for all people staying at Renmark so we can congregate somewhere & organise together. Just looking to help people with saving money if they are planning to organise a taxi or reduce the risk of someone attempting to drink & drive after a full day of drinking & poker.

I'd suggest maybe at a break just asking around for people heading to Renmark, get a group together and then organise a mini bus for later in the night.

I mentioned this in a previous thread, that anyone who is heading up on the Saturday will more than likely have to wait until the afternoon to actually check into their rooms. Not sure whether the same will apply to the golf club, as this was only in relation the the Berri Resort Hotel.

But given the traveling time from the golf club to the event, I'd say the same will apply.

OK, for those that are staying at the Renmark Golf & Country club - their check in time on Saturday is 2pm. It is possible to call them and arrange an earlier check in, but this is 11am at the earliest.

Another thought - If there are other people staying at the golf club & they also have a car (I will have mine), maybe we can take 2 cars during a break & check in, leave one there, rush back to Berri in the other, continue the day & have fun.

That way at the end of the evening we will only need to get a cab one way & will have a car to get back to Berri Sunday morning?

Will see what happens.
