Maybe lighten down then, Dug.
Some people feel this way, and want to write it. Let them do it without sarcasm disguised as humour.

May I lose the respect of many (let me keep my bubble of illusion that it was still there..)
But I thought Dug's post was funny, I LOL'ed all right. Funniest thing I have read on here all day.
On a serious note, t is good to see that change has enriched peoples lives, like JJ etc.
(On a not so serious note, I bet that Dug's kid gets around a lot more now too...so it has been positive for Dug's family too)

Re: WHAT HAS NPL DONE FOR YOU!
I've said it before in a post long ago (i can't remember which one it was, but it wasn't specifically a "what has NPL done for you?" post)...but being introduced to NPL was the start of something great for me. I've been able to learn something fun and improve on it, and improve on my social skills since I finally had something to get out of the house for. Along the way I've met some great people who have become awesome friends both at and away from the tables. My attention span for a lot of things tends to be a bit ooh hey look a shiny thing!, but poker has remained a constant and I plan on keeping it that way.

see not everyone thought it was poor taste, thanks shannon.
for the info, dont have any kids, but if i did i wouldnt be as stupid as to leave them in the car. I'd at least have the window down a bit.

That is quite fair when you think about it.

BEWARE - BAD TASTE JOKE - IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE OFFENDED - DON'T READ
I believe I have an awesome sense of humour although, when a joke is told I sometimes need to run after it, coz it went over my head.....but it only ever takes a moment or 2 or 3 or 4 before I get it
I really feel that leaving the window down is a good idea too. But getting gran out from the dementia home to keep him company in the car for a while would keep them both company, I mean she would forget how often he cries.
