Hey AK that was a really nice piece M8. I really enjoyed reading it and it also made sense. :D Might have a look at Virginia seeing it's in our B&G region LOL. See I'm one of you guys now, just need to wear a rope instead of a belt, hey?

Just joking M8. I enjoyed my 2 nites at the Kingy and need to get some extra games under my rope!!!!
Remember, It takes 8 muscles to smile :D and 40 to frown :(

I tried to find that topic that Nevah started, the one about her playing another competitors poker league, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, I played with a different pub poker league yesterday. I don't know the name of the pub, but it was a day game. The NPL game was at the Wheatsheaf pub in Virginia, 6.30 rego, 7.30 start.

It was a good, poker filled day. Here's my review.

Other poker league

Venue:
Not the best looking pub, but oh my god, that menu was fantastic. I mean, $6.50 for a beef/chicken schnitzel? That's insane! And it wasn't processed chicken either, it was the real deal (I actually got a chicken burger for $5 - best five bucks I've ever spent). Sooooo good. And the staff were so nice. I mean, the waitress used my name when she gave me my meal, that was so awesome. Cheap OJ's too :D

i must say that pub has the best menue and chicken parmi, mmmm i once worked up the road from ther and every friday was the bet meal. i cant wait to go ther again to eat. lol

Have to remember though, the meal quality of the venue is NO reflection on the actual poker league running a tournament there. Just lucky.
