State Finals - Photos (1st Flight)
Here's some of the photos I took, more to come. Would have been good if we were allowed upstairs to take some birds eye shots. Not sure why they closed this section

Re: State Finals - Photos (1st Flight)
Looks like I am thinking hard there, looks can be deceiving though
My stack wasn't that great there, must have been just before I pushed all in a couple of times and stole some blinds (one time with QQ but no callers). I made the recombine with 13K, won a couple of pots and then lost one pot that I was spewing about after I raised pre-flop, afterwards I thought that I really should have pushed all-in and forced the other guy to make the tough decision as I suspect he may have folded. My final hand I pushed all-in (with about 8K) holding A10 behind another all-in (smaller stack then me) and then had one caller. First all-in was AJ (ouch!) and caller had Q8, the damn Q8 held up with a flop of QKK and rags on turn and river, and I was on my way home!

If not f*cking annoying.
"HEY THERE!"
"Uhh... hi."
"Would you like a McKenna?"
"Um no thanks."
"Aww really? We've got free stuff."
"I'm good."
"But they're only $7, normally they're $11 or $12!"
"$7? (knowing full well they're normally $6 at these NPL events)"
"Yeah, only $7!"
"No thanks."
"Are you sure?"
"YES."

They MAY have been $6 at previous events, but you have to factor in the Tart-fuel tax now.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

I was focussed on harnessing the force to make sure the lightsaber missed me
