Nadal just absolutely thrashed Federer 6-1 6-3 6-0 in the french open final to become the second person to win 4 in a row.

absolutely amazing - it was a complete thrashing

Who cares?

Nah seriously even though it was such a one sided men's final it was still an awesome game to watch. Watching Federed have absaloutely no answer to Nadal was fascinating (The robot actually showed some emotion).

The fact that Nadal only made 7 unforced errors in 144 points of tennis was really quite astounding. I think wimbeldon in the next few weeks will be especially interesting. I think the variety Nadal is starting to show in his game by being able to flatten out his backhand especially, and his vastly imporved net play will make Federer ripe for the picking at wimbeldon.

On a side note, it shows what an absaloute champion Federer is in his dealings with the media interviews after the match. It REALLY hurt him to lose another french open final, but his humuility and praise for Nadal showed exactly why Federed is one of the best sportspeople of all time.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

I've always had a soft spot for Sharapova, but Ivanovic is quite the pretty penny. I had a thing for Martini Hingis too, but when she was (accused of) doing cocaine I lost all love for her. She had always been one of my favourite tennis players but that killed it.

On topic, I'm not surprised that Nadal won, Federer is his bitch on clay. But that score is a little bit shocking, especially for a Grand Slam final. I want Federer to win the French Open one day, but I don't think its possible until Nadal breaks his ankle or something.
