yeah you push off the ground next to the treadmill.
in this case, the force you exert has nothing to do with the treadmill, so the skateboard will go forward no matter what the treadmill is doing. the same is with the plane. the air has nothing to do with the treadmill.
also, think of putting a plane on a dyno (which is essentially the same thing as the treadmill) and think what effect the jet engines will have if you turn them on.

therefore this man's father = BOB'S FATHER
my father's son = BOB
BOB'S FATHER is not BOB
Let's say you are looking at a picture of your SON Bob.
"this man's father is my father's son"
this man = BOB'S SON
therefore this man's father = BOB
my father's son = BOB
BOB = BOB
so I would say you are not looking in a mirror, unless you're looking in a mirror at your son over your shoulder...
Or, just looking at a photo of your son.
