xtal from this forum would drive you CRAZY if you were to play with her I think. She isn't a bad player, by any stretch, but her hand selection/bet sizing is not very, er, conventional.

Would be fun i rekon, last night before the...beating i took...i shoved all in for over 1.3k when i was big blind...blinds being 50 / 100...when 5 people limped in...i had A Q, but since everyone folded, i ensured a hand like 3 4 wasnt gonna call...if i tried to say, slow play...i rekon i woulda gotten screwed over

My AA was cracked by Russel's Q4 off suit the other day. I had the best hand preflop, and on the flop (Russ hit two pair on the turn).

My JJ was cracked by Shannon's Q5 off last week. I had the best hand on the flop (Shannon hit two pair on the river).

Don't know about anyone else, but I WANT people with Q rag in the hand when I've got high pockets!

The number of times you'll win with that hand is more than worth the few times someone gets extremely lucky.

Aces: Final table. Blinds 2k/4k. I had 2k, was all in BB in two hands, I went all in. Russ was in the SB, he called, then hit top pair on the flop and went all in. I don't blame his play, I would've done the same thing.

Jacks: I was UTG, blinds 50/100. I raised to 700. Luke Harris goes all in for 350, gets around to Shannon in the BB she goes all in for 400. Luke shows A 5, Shannon Q 5.

Flop: x x 5, turn x, river Q.

guessing with the blinds so slow...shannon had another card in case she lost...i wouldnt c her trying that after 2nd break when blinds are 500 / 1000 ...

just to defend myself here (not that i need too, ).....

I respected the raise, I really did, put AK on much better cards then mine, I only had 350 total, in BB for 100, no cards. AK, UTG raises to 700, No. 2 goes all in for 200 small blind folds and I go, yep, getting ok return on my 350, what the hell, I can live with my all in.

got lucky, very lucky, sucking out the Q on the river for two pair, but I would never have called all-in if I had over 600, its just because I was so shortstacked that I even called with those two cards in the first place.

I had no cards, that is why i did it, no cards left and how else am i going to rebuild a diminished stack??
